The US Army RDECOM (Natick) has selected Gichner
Shelter Systems as its supplier for the S-788
shelter. This 5-year contract includes the
development, build and First Article Test of 3
Type I and 3 Type III shelters. An initial
delivery order added 20 production units, and
a second delivery order added an additional 5
production units. Total production could
reach 800 shelters.
